Set 2FA for withdrawal of funds

2FA, or two-factor authentication, allows you to increase the security of your EvenFi account.
For each withdrawal of money from your EvenFi balance to your bank account, you will be asked for a disposable code, called an OTP, generated by an app on your smartphone, such as Google Authenticator or Authy.

The OTP code will only be required for transactions on the platform, so it's essential that you never disclose it to anyone for any reason.
The staff will never ask you for this code; if someone asks for it in our name, please let us know.

To activate two-factor authentication, you will need to follow these steps:

Install a suitable app on your smartphone, such as Google Authenticator or Authy.
Log in to your EvenFi account, click on your name at the top right and then on Settings.

Click on Two-Factor Authentication and then on Activate 2FA.

Open the app you installed on your smartphone in step 1, click on the + symbol and then on Scan a QR code. Now scan the QR code shown on the PC with your smartphone.
The app will now start displaying disposable codes, each valid for 30 seconds. Enter the code you see on your smartphone on the PC screen.
Well done! You have just activated the 2FA for withdrawal.

TIPS FOR USE:
Never tell anyone (including staff members) your OTP code;
Should you lose access to the app, e.g. if you lose your smartphone, you can contact the staff in the official platform chat. One of our operators will send you a link for a video call, during which you will have to show us your identity documents.
